Flex and Telework In these days of high cost gasoline and congested roads, it may be a good time to think about if you or your staff may benefit from teleworking. The beauty of teleworking is that it can be tailored to the needs of the employee as well as those of the department. So, if you are interested in teleworking or if you are already informally doing so by working from home (or other alternate location) at least one day a week, visit the HR & Payroll telework website.
There you will find helpful information as well as the contract that must be completed for teleworking to be authorized by the university. Additional information is available on the technical side of telework such as virtual private network access (VPN) (key if you are working from an alternate location and dealing with sensitive information). If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
