Bicycle Commuter Benefit Program

Mason's bicycle benefit program begins January, 2011.

What You Need To Know

1. The program is open to all Mason full-time faculty and staff.
2. By participating in the Bicycle Commuter Benefit Program you are not eligible to participate in the Commonwealth Commuter Choice Program..
3. You must bike to any Mason Campus a minimum of eight times per month to be eligible for the benefit.
4. The Bicycle Tracking Form below must be submitted monthly to receive the benefit for that month.
5. Tracking Form must be received in the Transportation Office no later than the fifth of the following month to receive the benefit the next month.
6. The benefit is not retroactive if the Transportation Dept. receives the form after the fifth day of the month. Please take into account there could be a delay in the office receiving your form if you submit by interoffice mail. If the form is not received by the fifth day of the month, you will not receive the benefit.
7. To use the shower facilities, email transpo@gmu.edu so we can provide your name to RAC/Aquatic Center bike commuter list.

Benefits

1. A $20 voucher each month good at area bike shops. For a list of participating area shops, click here. To check the participating area shops online, click here.
2. Two complimentary daily parking passes per month if you do not already have a Mason parking permit. If you have a Mason parking permit already, you will be issued two all day garage validations instead.
3. Shower facility use at the RAC and Aquatic Center, 30 minute time limit, without becoming a member.
