You will find a summary of several transportation services listed below to help you get started with your search for alternate transportation options to and from George Mason's Fairfax Campus:
CUE Bus
You can take the CUE Bus-IT’S FREE!!!! Just show your GMU ID and you can ride for free on any of the CUE buses. They all pick-up at the bus stop on Fairfax campus across from Lot G and all can take you to the Vienna Metro Station. For more info go to: http://www.fairfaxva.gov/CUEBus/CUEBus.asp
Mason to Metro Shuttle
This is a FREE shuttle provided by George Mason that runs directly from the Fairfax Campus to the Vienna Metro Station and back every 30 minutes*. This shuttle service supplements the existing CUE bus service and picks up at the Sandy Creek Shuttle stop in front of the Parking Services office and then goes directly to the Vienna Metro Station and vice-versa. At the Metro Station, the shuttle picks up at the north side shelter.

Prince William Shuttle
You can ride for free on the Prince William shuttle that runs back and forth between the Fairfax and Prince William campuses. You can also catch the shuttle at the Target stop at the Manassas Mall!!! For more info, go to:

Metro Rail
From the Vienna Metro Station you can take the Orange line to the Arlington campus or beyond into DC.
Metro Bus
There are several Metro Bus routes serving GMU:
Fairfax: 15K, 15L, 17A,17G, 29K
Fairfax Connector
Route 306 serves the Fairfax Campus
