Four events on the Fairfax Campus this week are likely to have significant impacts on traffic and parking:
- Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., men’s basketball vs. Jacksonville State at EagleBank Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m., women’s basketball vs. Bucknell at EagleBank Arena. Parts of Lot L will be closed to accommodate bus traffic that will arrive between 9-10 a.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., Pentatonix concert at EagleBank Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 7, men’s basketball vs. American at EagleBank Arena. A section of Lot A closest to Nottoway River Lane and Patriot Circle will be closed for the Mason Tailgate prior to the game. For details go to si.gmu.edu/tailgating.Shenandoah Deck (Levels 4 and 5) will be open to overflow general permit and event parking beginning at 5 p.m. on these dates. Those wishing to avoid arena parking and traffic impacts should consider parking in Rappahannock River Deck.
During arena events, drivers should allow additional travel time to and from campus and avoid the southern end of campus near EagleBank Arena and Braddock Road. Extra time should be allowed if using Mason Shuttles.
