3/12/2020 Update: The visitor pass for the Mason to Metro routes is temporarily not available due to COVID-19.
Mason Shuttles is moving to an all ID check with the start of the spring semester. While the all ID check will officially begin on Tuesday, January 21, it won’t be enforced until Monday, February 3. The ID check will be in place for all routes and all stops except the West Campus route.
In addition to the ID check, Parking and Transportation is also introducing a $4 all-day shuttle pass for the Mason to Metro routes only (Sandy Creek and Global). We are initiating the visitor shuttle pass and the all ID check because we want to provide an option for Mason visitors to use the Metro to Mason shuttles and we also want to ensure that the shuttles are available for Mason community members or those with business at Mason. Visitors who would like to purchase an all-day pass to use the Mason shuttles that travel between Vienna Metro and Sandy Creek and Vienna Metro and the Global Center can visit http://parking.gmu.edu, click on “Purchase a Permit,” then “Get Permit,” and then follow the prompts as a Guest Login.
