Heavy traffic is expected on the Fairfax Campus on Wednesday because of large events at EagleBank Arena and the Center for the Arts. Lots A, C, J, K and PV Lot are expected to fill with traffic arriving from 7-10 a.m. Traffic will also be busy around 5 p.m. as the events conclude.
Allow additional travel time to and from campus and avoid Braddock Road if possible. Use alternate entrances such as University Drive and Roberts Road.
Mason faculty, staff, and students are strongly advised to use the Rappahannock River Parking Deck or the Field House parking lots to avoid delays. Shenandoah Parking Deck, Levels 4 and 5, will also be open for limited overflow student, employee, and event parking. Traffic for permit holders and event goers may be directed to other parking lots as needed.
