- Faculty/Staff Van Metre Hall permit is valid in the Van Metre Hall parking deck, as well as the non-restricted spaces of the general and faculty/staff permit areas at the Fairfax and Science and Technology campuses, including the Townhouse Lot and the general permit area of the Rappahannock Parking Deck (level 2 and the half of level 1 not designated for pay-by-space visitor parking).
- Please be aware that you cannot park in the Rappahannock Parking Deck general area from 2:00 am – 5:00 am, Monday-Friday.
- Permit is not valid in service/repair, state vehicle, administrative, reserved spaces, the Vernon Smith Garage, Mason Pond, and Shenandoah parking decks.
- Permit holder is always responsible for their vehicle and must pay attention to any special signs regarding lot closures and other temporary restrictions or changes to parking regulations.
- Permit is for use by authorized owner only and cannot be transferred to other people.
- Parking at all Mason parking facilities requires a valid parking permit or fee payment at a visitor area (parking decks or areas that accept mobile payments).
- Permit is not allowed to be resold, duplicated, or altered in any manner.
- Your license plate is your parking permit. License plate must be associated to a virtual permit. May only register vehicles that the permit owner owns or possesses. Vehicles without a front license plate must be parked with the rear license plate facing the drive aisle to avoid a citation.
