Fall Shuttle Start Dates and Schedules

Mason Shuttles’ fall schedule is set on the starting dates and schedules. All shuttles are free for Mason members when presenting a valid physical or mobile Mason ID. No visitors are permitted until further notice. Please see the details below regarding each shuttle route update, or click here for Fall Shuttle Overview (PDF):

West Campus Shuttle

Start Date: Monday, August 21
Special Charter Shuttle Service on Sunday, August 20

  • West Campus Shuttle will operate on a special one-time Sunday schedule. Service every 40 minutes between noon and 8:00 pm.
  • On-Demand Shuttle will be available between noon – 11:00 pm. Rides must be requested by 10:00 pm for pickups between 10:00 – 11:00 pm.

Fairfax/Mason Square

Start Date: Monday, August 21

Route Update:

  • There are two shuttles on the route: one at Sandy Creek and one at Van Metre; service is every 60 minutes.
  • Mason Square shuttle stop has moved next to the Capital Bikeshare station in front of Hazel Hall due to construction near Van Metre Hall.

Fairfax/SciTech

Start Date: Saturday, August 19

Route Update:

  • Weekend service begins on Saturday, August 19; weekday service begins on Monday, August 21.

Gunston Go-Bus

Start Date: Monday, August 14

Route Update:

  • Weekday service begins on Monday, August 14; Weekend service begins on Saturday, August 19;

Sandy Creek to Vienna Metro

Start Date: Saturday, August 19

Route Update:

  • Weekend service has been added between 10:00 am to midnight. The last departures are at 11:00 pm (Sandy Creek) and 11:30 pm (Vienna Metro Bay C-Northside)
  • Weekday service begins on Monday, August 21.

On-Demand Shuttle

Start Date: Saturday, August 19

Route Update:

  • Vienna Metro is no longer a stop. Please use the Sandy Creek to Vienna Metro shuttle or CUE Bus on weekends to travel to Vienna Metro (Effective on August 19)
  • One bus from noon – 3:00 pm. Two buses on the route from 3:00 – 11:00 pm.
