- Permit is valid in Lots M & P at all times.
- Permit is valid in the non-restricted spaces of the general permit areas on the Fairfax campus from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and all day Friday through Sunday. Fairfax general permit areas include A, C, K, L, PV Lot, and the general permit area of Rappahannock Parking Deck (all of level 2, and the half of level 1 not designated as visitor parking).
- Please be aware that you cannot park in the Rappahannock Parking Deck general area from 2:00 am – 5:00 am, Monday-Friday.
- Permit is not valid in service/repair, state vehicle, administrative, reserved, and faculty/staff spaces.
- Permit is not valid at the Mason Square without approval from Parking Services.
- Permit is not valid at the Science & Technology campus.
- Permit holder is always responsible for their vehicle and must pay attention to any special signs regarding lot closures and other temporary restrictions or changes to parking regulations.
- Permit is for use by authorized owner only and cannot be transferred to other people.
- Permit is not allowed to be resold, duplicated, or altered in any manner.
- Your license plate is your parking permit. License plate must be associated to a virtual permit. May only register vehicles that the permit owner owns or possesses. Vehicles without a front license plate must be parked with the rear license plate facing the drive aisle to avoid a citation.
- Permit does not guarantee a space in any specific lot.
- If you have a Lot M&P permit and have a disability placard or hangtag, you are still held to the standard rules and regulations of your permit. This means that you may use the disabled spaces in those respective lots but you cannot use your disabled credentials to park on the East Campus or at the SciTech and Mason Square campuses
