Aquia Creek Lane to Close for Restoration and Repaving

Because of a repaving and restoration project, Aquia Creek Lane will be closed between the SUB I loading dock and the Mason Pond Parking Deck from Monday, Nov. 1, through Monday, Nov. 22. No drop-offs or pickups will be allowed.

In addition, Level 3 of the Mason Pond Parking Deck will not be available for entrance and exit during this period. Please enter and exit through the Level 1 entrance.

For drop-offs and pickups during this time, please use the Finley Lot and Lot I 30-minute parking spaces, as well as the Mason Pond Parking Deck visitor area, where the first 30 minutes are complimentary.

Additionally, from Tuesday, Nov. 12, through Friday, Nov. 22, all of Aquia Creek Lane will be closed to vehicle traffic between Patriot Circle and the Mason Pond Parking Deck from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with only service and commercial vehicles allowed from 4 p.m. to 7 a.m.

All parking spaces along Aquia Creek Lane will be closed November 12-22, though spaces for disabled parking next to the Aquia Building will be available.

Disabled parking will also be available inside the Mason Pond Deck while Aquia Creek Lane is closed. Requests for mobility assistance from the parking deck should be made to the Patriot Lift program at least one business day in advance at patlift@gmu.edu.

If you have any questions, please email parking@gmu.edu or call 703-993-2710.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
