Mason Shuttles’ spring schedule is set on the starting dates with some major schedule changes. All shuttles are free for Mason members when presenting a valid Mason ID. West Campus Shuttle
Special Charter Shuttle Service on Sunday, January 22
- West Campus Shuttle will operate on a special one-time Sunday schedule. Service every 40 minutes between noon and 8:00 pm.
- On-Demand Shuttle will be available between 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Rides must be requested by 10:00 pm for pickups between 10:00 pm-11:00 pm.
Fairfax/Mason Square
Start Date: Monday, January 23
Route Update:
- There are two shuttles on the route: one at Sandy Creek and one at Van Metre; service is every 60 minutes.
- Mason Square shuttle stop has moved next to the Capital Bikeshare station in front of Hazel Hall due to construction near Van Metre Hall.
Fairfax/SciTech
Start Date: Saturday, January 21
Route Update:
- Weekend service begins on Saturday, January 21; weekday service begins Monday, January 23.
- Weekend service has changed; first departure from Sandy Creek at 10:00 am, last departure at 4:00 pm; first departure from Colgan at 11:00 am, and last departure at 5:00 pm.
Gunston Go-Bus
Start Date: Saturday, January 21
Route Update:
- Weekend service begins on Saturday, January 21; weekday service begins Monday, January 23.
Sandy Creek to Vienna Metro
Start Date: Monday, January 23
Route Update:
- Service will be every 30 minutes from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
- Beginning at 4:00 pm, a third bus has been added; service will be every 20 minutes from 4:00 – 11:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
- Please note the last three departures from Sandy Creek–10:00 pm, 10:20 pm, and 10:40 pm–will stop at the CUE Bus stop by Fairfax Squares on the return trip from Vienna Metro.
On-Demand Shuttle
Start Date: Saturday, January 21
Route Update:
- A new stop is added: Fairfax Circle (intersection of Lee Highway/Route 29 and Circle Woods Drive at the bus shelter) (Effective on January 21)
