Mason Receives Award
Prince William Campus Receives Transportation Award
The Prince William Campus received a Gold Medal Employer award from the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission - Omni Smartest recognizing the campus as one of the top employers and best workplaces for commuters in Prince William County. Ron Carmichael, campus executive officer for regional campuses (right), and Josh Cantor, director of parking and transportation, received a plaque from PRTC representatives Sam Salkin and Holly Morello during the monthly campus management meeting on Feb. 11.

Anyone living in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area is familiar with the area’s everyday traffic congestion and ongoing transportation issues. Mason’s Transportation Department is here to help commuters get around a little bit easier by providing the Mason community-staff, faculty, students, and affiliates-a variety of transportation services and options for getting to and from Mason’s Campuses.
This site is designed to demonstrate some of the benefits of using alternative transit and to educate commuters on alternative transportation options available to them. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let us know!
