The webinar series continues with a Webex session on Wednesday, July 15 at noon addressing  how to manage your active transportation programs in the age of COVID-19.  Where are the opportunities and how can you maintain best practices as the pandemic evolves? David Loss, Outreach and Shared Micromobility Coordinator from the Fairfax County Department of Transportation moderates this session with insights shared by Aaron Goldbeck, Transportation Planner and Micromobility Specialist from the DC Department of Transportation and Paul Gilbert, Executive Director of NOVA Parks.

The last session in the series will be held on Wednesday, July 29 at noon. Join us for Safe Streets for All, a discussion on the vision for Safe Streets followed by a deep dive into a case study of a successful Safe Street project in Arlington.  What does safety look like?  What worked and what were the lessons learned?  This session will be moderated by Katy Lang, Program Director, Active Transportation, Arlington County Commuter Services.  Panelists include Dan Nabors, Design Team Supervisor, Arlington County Department of Environmental Services and Gillian Burgess, Chair of the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee.
